In Bulbul, the death toll in West Bengal rises to 5-বুলবুলে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে মৃতের সংখ্যা বেড়ে ১১

Six people have died in West Bengal, India after being hit by a cyclone bulb. The information was given on Monday in various media of the country.

The state government on Sunday said it had killed five people in the wake of the cyclone bulb. The death toll may increase. Most of the people died in the trees, lightning, storms and houses collapsed.


Twenty-four parganas in north and south and east Midnapore district were the worst hit by the storm. There are twenty-four parganas like Sundarbans, Bakkhali sea tourist center, and Digha, Mandarmani, the best sea tourist destination in West Bengal in East Midnapore.

Bulbul has the highest number of deaths in North 24 Parganas districts. Five people were killed here. Besides, two died in East Midnapore, 2 in South 24 Parganas districts and 3 in Kolkata.

As a government, 150 lakh people have been affected in West Bengal. The number of affected homes is 3,000. 9 relief camps opened. Relief camps have given shelter to 4 lakh 3,000 people. There are 122 kitchens built. The light bulb was damaged by five substations. 2,000 mobile towers. Hundreds of acres of tea land were damaged. Lots of crops are drowned. Many cattle have died. Lots of damage to the penthouse. Homes in many areas have collapsed. The rice of the house has flown.

Four fishing trawlers anchored in Fraserganj A fisherman was killed in the trailer. Five fish are still missing. Although the government ordered every trawler to anchor in a safe place, the owners of the trawlers did not leave trawler fishermen to protect the trawlers. Many of them were forced into the stroller in the storm.

Bakkhali, one of the major tourist destinations in the South 24 Parganas, has been demolished. The shop is over here. A stroller was also drowned when the storm struck.

Yet, in many places of the affected areas, electricity supply has crashed. In many places there are poles of electricity. Roads were disrupted due to heavy vegetation breaking down roads. The dam has been damaged in the south 24 Parganas. Rescue has begun in the affected area. The trees falling on the road are being removed. Rescue and relief work has been carried out by three teams of National Disaster Rescue Force, 4 teams of State Disaster Rescue Force, Kolkata Police Rescue Team as well as Coast Guard and Navy members. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is going to Kakdwip on Monday to visit the affected area.

Bulbul hit West Bengal at around 7:30 pm last Saturday. At that time, the speed of the storm was 3 to 5 kilometers an hour. The first hit in West Bengal was in Bakkhali and SagarDeep in the Sundarbans region. However, the Sundarbans have survived the storm.
