Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate a night-time test by playing the traditional bell of the Eden Gardens. Bangladesh will face India for the first time in the Eden Test on November 22.

The first day of play will begin after Sheikh Hasina and Mamata Banerjee ring the bell. Playing the bell in Eden is part of the tradition of the field. Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) secretary Abhishek Dalmiya confirmed the news to the media.
This will be the first day-long test in the history of Bangladesh and India. The CAB is organizing various events to make this moment memorable. West Bengal Governor Jaydeep Dhyankar has also been invited to the field. Not only that, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has invited Bangladeshi internationally renowned artist Runa Laila at the Eden Gardens Test. The legend will sing before the match begins.

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly is also trying to bring in legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

The CAB also invited all the teams that played Bangladesh in the first Test of their history against India in the 21st. They will also give HIV-positive children a chance to play during the 5-minute dinner break on the first day of the test. In addition, the CAB plans to show off something spectacular, from the helicopter to the skydiver trophy on the first day of the test.
