After the Second World War, the German nation never wanted to divide itself, with devastation and mental disaster. The entire country affected by the war, the pain of losing their relatives, the thousands of prisoners in the hands of the war-winning allies, the responsibility of the war, and then the division of the country - the German nation could not accept it. However, the nations of Europe and their leaders who were wounded by the Nazi Hitler suppression war sought the division of the then fascist German state. The Germans occupied almost the whole of Europe almost two years ago in World War II. World War ended with Hitler's suicide on May 7, leaving nearly six million people dead and wars in Europe. But European nations and ethnicities continue to be hurt and mistrustful.

The United States, France, and England were the holders of capitalist philosophy and economy, and the Soviet Union was the holder of socialist philosophy and economics. With the defeat of the German nation, two economic and social systems were introduced through the division of Germany - capitalism in the west and socialism in the east. And the two Germans were moving forward with their capitalist and socialist economic ideas.

By the end of the eighties, the movement began to demand more democracy and civil rights in the socialist countries of Eastern Europe, with the hand of the former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev's program of Glasnost and Perestroika. The wave of that movement took place in the former East Germany as well. Towards the end of the year, thousands of people took to the streets to protest the cold in the big cities of the former East Germany, following the civic movement and the church banner. They demanded democracy and political reforms.

On October 8, around 5,000 people took to the streets in East Germany to call for a civil movement in Leipzig. That was the biggest civil uprising against the socialist government of East Germany. After that, not only Leipzig, but small and big cities, the wave of movement took place in the capital East Berlin. On November 7, around 100,000 people protested against the government at Alexander Square, the heart of East Berlin. In the midst of the unrest, East German party secretary Erich Honecker resigned. The collapse of the communist government began on November 7, with members of the Communist Party's editorial staff in East Germany resigning. On 9 November, Gunter Sabalsky, a spokesman for the East German Communist Party's editorial, announced the ban on East German citizens from moving to West Berlin.

Beginning on the evening of November 7, the work of demolishing a wall built 20 years ago to divide Berlin. The post-war generation of barbarians fleeing joy due to travel restrictions is not lost on the west side and people in the west have a long way to the east - to return to the long-lost friends and loved ones. All the bloodshed of capitalism and socialism, the barrage of law is relaxed and the Germans become overwhelmed.

The destruction of the wall was going on for two nights. Some have laughed and cried for the joy of breaking the wall. Thousands of East and West Berliners hugged each other, rejoicing to break down the wall that had left Germany whole after World War II. It was then that the Germans began to believe again, that the Germans would be one again. The world began to believe. The events that followed the fall of the wall are faster, more dramatic.

The then West German government was shocked by what happened in East Germany, and the people of eastern Germany were pushing for the re-integration of the two Germans very soon. The two Germans united on October 9, 9th, after a series of negotiations with the Allies and the leaders of East and West Germany. German Chancellor Helmut Kohl said at the time, "There is nothing to glorify the German nation. But we are proud of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the unification of the German nation. ”

For 5 years, the opposite economic and political structures were in two parts. In the past, the great challenge was to break the socialist economic structure and to build the infrastructure of the capitalist economy like the West. In the last 3 years, despite many efforts to restore the economy, much has not been possible due to the reality, so social problems and cultural isolation are also in two parts. Despite the collapse of the Berlin Wall, the merger of the two Germans, a psychological wall between the two halves has not yet ended.

The people of the East are big supporters of Germany's staunch nationalist Alternative for Germany. In the recent elections, the party is getting between 5 and 5 percent of the vote. They are one of the opposition parties against the ruling coalition government in the German parliament. Various studies have shown that in the last 3 years, despite many reforms in the former East Germany, the ruling political parties did not go to the people of the deprived areas to make mistakes. However, the time to face them before a chaotic political environment was created in the east is not yet over.

Although the Berlin Wall was completed five years later, the people's thinking wall was not yet broken. It could be said that the year was not the end of history, but rather it was the starting point for integrating a complex reversal period.
